OOTDBuy Spreadsheet GuideWho is responsible at each handoff

The agent

A buying agent, and a company you can look up

The OOTDBUY wordmark as it appears at the top of the official pages: an orange bag symbol beside the name set in lower case.OOTDBUY describes itself as a one-stop purchasing service: search across Chinese marketplaces, buying on your behalf, payment, inspection, international transport and door to door delivery. It says it has offices across several regions and serves 45 countries.

Most of that is the sort of claim every agent site makes, and none of it can be checked from outside. One thing on the same pages can be: the operating company is named as GLOBAL BUYPAL UK TECHNOLOGY LIMITED with company number 16688410, registered at 7 Copperfield Road, Coventry, West Midlands, England, United Kingdom CV2 4AQ. Both the about page and the contact page print it identically.

A company number is worth more than a paragraph of reassurance, because it is the only claim on the site a stranger can independently verify. What the guide itself is, and what the product entries do and do not promise, is on the spreadsheet page.

The about page, in full

Two thirds of it is positioning. The last three lines are the part that can be checked against a public register.

First, the parts that are the same everywhere

It is worth being clear about how much of this is standard, because comparison pages tend to present shared mechanics as differentiators.

Buying agents commonly offer purchasing, warehouse receipt, inspection photographs and international parcel forwarding. The marketplaces they support, payment methods, storage terms and item restrictions can differ. Read each service’s current terms for your actual item and destination.

If a page tells you that photographs at intake are a reason to choose one agent over another, that page is padding. What actually differs between agents of this kind is how clearly each one writes down the handoffs and what it charges along the money path.

What OOTDBuy does differently from the rest

Three things here are specific enough to be worth knowing, and all three come from the official pages rather than from marketing copy.

Verifiable

A registered company, printed twice

Company name, number and registered address appear on both the about and contact pages, along with a support email, a business email and a phone number given for WhatsApp. Support hours are published as 09:00-21:30 (UTC+8).

Unusually direct

A fee page that names its own limits

The fee page states that nothing is charged beyond goods, international freight and the declaration fee, and puts a number on that last one. Third party measurement supports the claim about fees; where the service earns instead is the currency conversion, which is a different conversation.

Worth reading twice

A returns page that names responsibility

The responsible party table is more specific than most agents publish, down to situations like a freight quote coming in higher than the buyer expected. It is the reason this guide is organised the way it is.

How this one earns

Since the fee page rules out a service fee, it is fair to ask where the margin is. The answer is on the top-up pages: goods are priced in yuan, you fund in your own currency, and the platform states it converts at the rate it takes from Bank of China, adjusting as that moves.

An outside measurement on 2026-10-08 recorded 12.2 percent of markup for this agent sitting entirely in that currency column, with the service fee column at zero. That is not a scandal and it is not hidden, but it is the number that matters when you compare against an agent that charges a visible percentage instead.

Why OOTDBuy, and when to choose another agent instead

The part comparison pages leave out. Some of these point elsewhere, and that is the honest answer rather than a hedge.

Reasonable fit

  • You are buying clothing, shoes or bags, where the inspection at intake is checking the things that can be checked
  • You want the responsibility rules written down before you need them, which this agent does better than most
  • You are consolidating several small items and the parcel arithmetic is what you care about
  • You want a named legal entity behind the service that you can look up yourself

Look elsewhere

  • You need a low currency conversion above all else, in which case compare the currency column across agents rather than the fee column
  • You are buying electronics where function matters, since the official inspection scope does not cover the things that would reassure you
  • You need goods in a hurry, because no agent controls the carrier and none of them guarantee a delivery date
  • You want returns to be simple, because five days from stock-in is a real constraint and several categories are excluded outright
Steps 4 and 5 of the official OOTDBUY tutorial, covering the purchasing agent and warehouse inspection and storage.
The four handoffs are the same at every agent of this kind. What differs is how clearly each one writes them down. The two steps you cannot watch: a buyer places your order, and a warehouse receives it. Official page, read on 2026-09-03. Source.

Other buying agents and how to compare them

Oopbuy, OrientDig and PonyBuy are other agents you may encounter when following seller links. They run separate accounts and order systems; a catalogue link is not a shared order history or a way to transfer support between services.

Compare the same basket and destination: the checkout conversion, fees, available shipping lines, inspection scope and return process. Read recent reports about the particular problem that matters to you, and check the dates and evidence behind them. Browse the agent directory.
